WHO IS FREDY?
Hi, my name is Fredy, I am 42 years and living in Germany. I studied computer science at university and I am working as software engineer for over 16 years now. I was always interested in art and it was one of my examination classes at school. Instead of studying design I decided to study computer science and kept art as my hobby. Technical drawings and taking photos were my main focus until I stumbled over "Bryce 2" and "Poser 3" which both laid the base for my 3D-computer-graphics addiction. Like many of us I learned most of the 3D-stuff on my own with the help of a lot of training books and experience over the years.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?:
I was always a visual oriented person. I love and collect comic books, art books, I watch a lot of movies and listen to a lot of music. Combine this with my addiction for Sci-Fi/Fantasy then you have my source of inspiration.
WHICH IS MY FAVORITE PIECE OF ART?
At first Sci-Fi. I love Sci-Fi. Add a little bit of humor, sexy ness or thoughtfulness then you have my favorite piece of art. Next is fantasy from sexy elves to evil trolls. Love them all.
ADVICE/COMMENTS TO OTHER ARTISTS:
Start showing your pictures, ask other artists if you need tricks/criticism, make collaborations with other artists, be experimental, try to step out of the box and never give up. All this helps to improve your art.
